there was a thread running on the old site started by shark1e who had trouble with brake boost failure .when he used his brakes continually he lost boost ,dash light came on and brake pedal would collapse under his foot.
IF I REMEMBER CORRECT.
The problem was the impeller was worn on the boost pump on back of alternator
i think he turned the impeller round and that solved the problem.
worth a look.

Good news

Well, I visited the garage this morning with a print out of all the ideas.Well to my surprise when I turned up they had sorted the problem.It was the bleed niple on top of the rear axel.It was just that they forgot to tell me it was sorted:doh,which is strange when yesterday they said they had tried that and it did not work.

YEP!!!! got the MOT, total bill for their work was £172(that did not include the MOT)paid it just to get it back.To think it was the dam bleed nipple on the top of the axel (you clever sod) lol:bow
