Dug out my old landrover out of barn this morning.yes i know i am going to get some stick yes i know is not a landy club but some of us still have old vehicles before seeing the light.
Problem brake pedel is hard, its ether the servo or the engine vacpump it is a old 90 engine none turbo, how do i test which is at fault. Loz.

sorry cant help with the problem but if you gave it to me i would happily take the flak:thumbs
cheers Andy

You could disconnect the pipe on the vac pump and check if it's sucking in air.

You could get a hose pipe and connect the servo of the LR to a good car and see if the brakes on the LR start to work.

Disconected the pipe from pump to servo pump is sucking so it must be the servo? conneced terrano to landy by hose pipe it made no diffrence. any one got a Servo kicking about for a series 3? Loz:bow
