on thursday the truck came back home!
it's almost a brand new car, impressive.
the total work has been: engine swap with some maintenance on the new unit: head milling, valve seat turning, valve sealing check, head hydraulic test (to check for cracks), ALL engine gaskets, from the head to all the ORings around, flywheel ringseal, all liquids and filtersof course, new clutch and new clutch bearing, new belts and pulley bearings, starting motor, overhauled turbo, internal radiator and refrigerating system cleaning.

i spent a bit but the engine is almost brand new, terrific!

'course, i promised them!

i just need some free time (during daytime!) to take some pics..

I also gained a bunch of spares as something's been saved by the two engines. a spare electronic injection pump that's nice to have (although i'd like to swap mine with a mechanical unit from a 100hp, whenever i'll find it).

unfortunately i didn't take any pic of my old engine, to show you the cracked head and the seized cylinder. quite an awful show to see, expecially the cylinder with lots of very deep scratches, while the head had two cracks going from the prechamber to the valve seat.
