Hi, i have recently experienced a loss of power from my 99 TDI and have changed the maf but this had made no difference. It is not a major loss of power but it is not as quick as it use to be and therefore i am starting to look else where. I have removed and checked the pipes from the turbo and the two pipes either side of the intercooler and there is a small amount of wet oil residue present. I was reading a thread which suggested removing the oil seperator and replacing it with an oil catcher. Does anyone have any pictures of where to fit the catcher and which pipes to connect. I have also seen an american thread suggesting taking off the intercooler and cleaning it by pouring in a cleaning fluid and leaving for a couple of hours. Has anyone done this and if so what fluid did they use?
