UPDATE. DUE TO WET LANES IN SOUTH NOTTS LIMITING THE AMOUNT WE CAN DRIVE I HAVE RE DONE THE NORTH NOTTS LANES TO MAKE A FULL DAY OF IT APPROX 6.5 HRS AND 51 MILES FINNISHING THE DAY WITHIN 7 MILES OF STARTING POINT.
THIS IS THE ROUTE GORDON AND ME DROVE ON SUNDAY.
SO NO NAV EX. CANNOT RISK LOOSING ONE OR MORE OF YOU.
WELL AT LEAST KAREN WILL BE PLEASED .

DINNER IS A PACKED LUNCH .

there are no public toilets on this route so its a headge or one of the pubs we pass .There is a pub within walking distance of where i intend to stop for dinner APPROX 1.30 PM

i'm not shy to a bit of mud.have now got mt tyres and you can really feel the difference in grip.but not had chance to put them to the test yet.

you have already driven lanes in derbyshire worse than these so dont worry.
the lane gordon discribed as driving sideways you and Dinky wont be driving.
that just leaves Hummingbird and Dadba the choice to drive it or not.

if i didn't have the kids with me i would have a go at driving it.starting to get used to the size and handling of the t2,but with 4'ruts might have to wait until i have a bit more ground clearance
did a few lanes round darleydale,beeley and endasor with my mate in his fourtrack.very wet and slippery but we bottled the last section of butchers lane as it was badly washed out and got quite a good lean on.not as easy to drive them in reverse up hill but made for an interesting afternoon out.

just checked the weather for tommorow.looks alot better than today.cloudy in the morning and brighter but windy in the afto.plenty of standing water around to splash about in. :smile:

Good day had by all today, got round in good time which left us time for a bbq by the ford at Elkesley/Spitfire Bottoms - thankyou again dinky.

Good lanes, a lot drier than last year, though I did get stuck in almost exactly the same place as last time, though when you see the pics you'll understand why. Thanks for organising it Ian D.

had a good day out,even better as dinky had one of the girls riding with him,thanks for that not used to peace and quiet in the motor.a bit of action when hb got stuck but dabda soon pulled him out in his troll.thanks to ian for organising the day and to eveyone who turned up.a nice friendly atmosphere.looking forward to next time. :smile:

p.s where did you get them burgers dinky they where very tasty.
