Sorry for the short notice, but I was unsure of whether to go ahead with this or not.

I've spoken to Mav today and he's up for the idea too. In fact he suggested it.

So Aug bank Hol weekend: Sunday 26th August 2007

Mini meet in North Norfolk.

We're just planning an informal get together on the Sunday, possibly a pub lunch and see what goes from there. It would be nice to meet some new members, especially as we have a few in that locality.

Anyone wishing to stay over can do so of course as there are plenty of B & Bs and camping or caravan sites locally.

I am staying in South Creake for the week with My better half Carole, My Son(aka Sressman) his wife and kids.

If you fancy a bit of gentle green lanning then let me know we could perhaps do a few lanes on the day or maybe in the week.

Meet Place and time:

Burnham overy Staithe, on the sea front. 1200 noon.

If memory serves me correctly there is a pub there called the Ship Inn, large car park right on waters edge.

For those with a road map, just off the A149 Wells Road.

For those with Sat Nav Burnham overy Staithe, West Harbour road crossing East Harbour road.

Anyone wanting either my mobile number or Mavs please send PMs.

If your on CB, channel 30 from 1130 onwards.
 
I,m up for a meet as im down in clacton that week just let me know when and where i will even put my mud/ts on just in case.

i am away to paris that week but definiatley be up for it otherwise.

i know a man who owns a boat for a bit of sea fishing in yarmouth as well

i will pencil it in for the following year


oh dont forget the newsletter its a bit thin on the ground at the mo

Even if they just have a ride out for the day, as people don’t have to stop overnight when its only around an hour away for most members in the county’s of Norfolk / Lincs / Cambs and Suffolk.

26-08 Nth Norfolk meet by Cameraman

I am a brand new member but will try to be there (if my newly-acquired MAV otherwise being referred to by missus as "another pile of rubbish" permits) - sounds like a good opportunity to meet other members.

Still in shock that I found the event at all! - Think I tripped over it (still getting used to forum usage).

For those using CB, you will not be able to get hold of me. For some reason my Cb has just died, no apparent reason, just not powering up anymore - old age most likely.

Still contacable by phone though.

We thought we'd start with a pub lunch or similar and take it from there, many lanes in area if thats what peolpe want, we thought that with no "fixed plans" or "time scale" we could play it by ear.
