noise when driving at any speed

hi i have an issue that im in desperate need to resolve, all of a sudden yesterday i started to get a noise that sounds like transmission. accelerate the noise starts remove foot from acc the noise goes..... i checked the main shaft and it appears to drift slightly at the gearbox end..........:-( does anyone have any ideas.....?????

does the noise get louder and higher the faster you go? also, does it make the noise in all the gears?

the only differance i noticed the faster i go theres a werrring noise but as a rule its sounds like a grumble

The best way to check your prop shaft UJ's is remove it from the diff and you will then be able to feel the front and rear hardy spicers, if you have needle rollers with flats on them you will feel this with the shaft off but very hard to feel if still connected, Rick
