to be honest im not sure.... what zippy needs, has he fixed it, or lost it, or did he have one or the other in the first place.

kids have a rehearsal on the Sunday, then Monday up to Brum for a copmetition
 
In my owners manual it say that it will automatically detect if a trailer is connected and a audible warning will sound... or something like that. So you should have one. Don't know about the law on this though?

Discussed in the link in the post above Alan....think light or buzzer is fine, providing they give a warning of bulb failure somehow.....

I may be a bit rusty but I understand all you need is an audible and/or visual notification that the indicators on the attached trailer is operating :thumb2

If the one on your car fails you still need to keep an eye on the normal dashboard light.

You will not know if any other lights on the trailer have failed but the logic is that you've only got one indicator each side as opposed to brake and rear markers so particularly for the dreaded right turn a notification/attention getter/confidence checker is essential.


ahhhh...............just read the link, apparently if yours doesnt pick up on the car bulb failure it doesnt conform.........interesting, you learn something every day. I wouldnt have thought that thought because its meant to be monitoring your trailer and not your car :nenau
