Anyone else who has said they wish to join please forward the fee by paypal to

[email protected]

If paying using a Paypal balance or via Paypal from your bank account please pay just the £2. If the payment will be funded from a credit or debit card please can you add the pay pal fee of 3.4%+20p which makes it £2.28.

IMPORTANT - add your user name to the transaction or PM me to let me know who has paid so I can get Mav to activate the correct accounts. Thanks and lets get this moving.

We've affiliaed to GLASS and so have a number (4) of free accounts for Wayfinder Project, the GLASS forum and site. At the moment Wayfinder accounts are free anyway but won't be for ever so basically this gives members access to Wayfinder and GLASS's knowledge, as we can now ask for advice from the area reps when planning trips etc, non members will still be allowed to come along on trips but we hope they'll join up eventually.

The £2 is jut to cover the affiliation fee which is £30 for up to 30 members (to affiliatte the whole club would ave cost £250), and a pound per member after that. As number grow we'll drop the fee and the people who paid more will get their membership extended.

Yes i have allowed them in, No problems.

Simon

If anyone is unsure how to do that I can send you a request from paypal, just pm me your email address.

Paypal'd my fee to you H'bird.

I'd like to consider helping out as an area rep too.
I live in the West Mids but if a Midland rep has already been appointed I could do Wales as I try to spend as much time as possible there.

Sorry to those who I have refunded but I did plainly ask that those people not funding their payment through paypal from either a paypal balance or a bank account to please pay the fees portion - only 28p I know, but thats a substantial portion of the sum to be paid and why should everyone else pay fully towards costs when others don't.

Simon I paid mine via a Paypal balance but you refunded it presumably in error. I have paid it once again from my Paypal balance so no fees should be due, right?

Can only assume your balance must have een funded from a card or similar as Paypeal have applied charges again to your payment.

I paid via Paypal using "Instant bank transfer" and I've still have the payment refunded. Can you please explain EXACTLY what you do want?

The Email I received said:

"Simon Bentley ([email protected]) has issued you a full or partial refund for your payment.

Temporary Hold Information: A temporary hold has been placed on funds that were returned to your account because you used Instant Bank Transfer to fund the original payment. The funds from this payment cannot be released until they have arrived from your bank account, which usually takes three to four working days."

Cheers

Hi Simon I'll send the 28p over now.

Of which I recieved 7p - Paypal again.

I really can't be bothered, my time is worth more than this messing around, if you want to be a member please read the paypal fees spec and arrange to get £2 into the relavent account - I don't know where your money comes from or how its transfered etc but you and Paypal do.

PM regarding help with paypal

I sent you a pm earlier HB regarding help with the paypal thing as offered by you.
