The brake warning light (!)
Its on constantly, it started flickering a while back now it stays on. The handbrake seems fine, the brake fluid is at the right level, is it indicating brake pads?
Ok, is it gonna be an MOT failure?
How do I check the ABS sensor and the brake lines or is it best I just take it to the garage and say stick it through its MOT then fix anything wrong with it and re test it if needed.
There should be a seperate warning light for the ABS....I'd be checking the pads personally - even some older motors had embedded wires to create a short when the pads got too low....I'm not aware the T2 had it but these nutty old Mistrals....?
BRAKE WARNING LIGHT:Ok, I'll get that done just to be sure. I know I can do that fine.
I did think that. In the manual it says fluid level or fan belt may cause the light to come on
Fan belt as that drives the vacuum pump on the back of the alternator.
So I still think it could be low vacuum.:nenau
