finished up the centre console this morning I will be putting black carpet on the plywood by the way [emoji23] but this is as much as I can get done at the moment as we’re away Friday. I was hoping that I could get it completely done for the meet in April but I don’t think I will have the time.

Nice thread :thumb2. Some great work you have done. I was planning on going for a twin battery on my old one before I sold it so interesting to see how you have done this :thumbs

Well battery set up works perfectly for running a large cool box and a smaller one and charging all accessories and having lights on

another 800 mile round trip faultless got a big trip at the end of June going to the very top of Scotland for around 10 days should be pretty awesome.
Definitely need a roof rack, awning, some kind of shower setup need to think on that one.
Does anyone know if anyone does the bat wing awnings that would work on the Nissan as the door opens the opposite way to most 4x4s

Most batwings should be sided. This is my current favourite at the moment.

Can anyone shed some light if these are the right pieces of exhaust that I need as it’s making a hell of a rattle so I assume that some parts have snapped.

Before you go buying a new exhaust just check the exhaust to gearbox mount.
They have a habit of breaking and cause loads of rattling.
Its a U clamp onto a metal bracket with rubber mounts to the gearbox.
If you look under the motor level with the front passenger door you will see it.

Ye that sounds like it could be it feels like it’s banging when changing gears and turning

Or other option should I just make my own altogether the only problem is I will be doing a lot of miles so I want it to be as quiet as possible

Ok rolled underneath and found out the flexi isn’t attached at one end so may just order that piece and clamp it together

Does anyone know the diameter of the standard exhaust so I don’t have to roll under and try and measure again so I can get this flexi bought

The one I ordered was Klarius Flexi Repair Pipe D 51.5mm L 290mm

Have a read of this thread you might find it is hard work, and not worth the effort. I still ended up having to take the front section off to weld it, as the clamps fowled the cross member. It's only £10 more for the complete front section.

Yea will probably just whip the whole exhaust off and weld a new one up as it’s quite rusted up anyway

Can anyone pop a picture on of the roof rack clamps please just a close up so I know which ones to buy.
The ones that run under the door along the rain gutter.

I was looking at them but they just don’t look like the right shape but if that’s what everyone uses then I will get them

Never used that brand before.
Thule do them but you have to buy the foot pack and bars separately.
The set i had on my old Terrano where made by mont blanc.
