Roofrackwise, I got mine from SDV in Clitheroe, I don't have existing bars either, so had to decide between rivnuts or not inviting water into the cabin.

I already had the roof bars and SDV built of there without puncturing the roof. I can easily swap it over to another vehicle if needed.
Snorkel, I'd go for a long one that enters the wing close to the headlamp.
I'm tempted by a diesel heater too, just to take the edge off when entering and exiting the sleeping bag.
My 2nd battery is inside the truck and no problem.
It's all looking good so far.
Yes, that's the snorkel. The reason is that under the wing is a strengthening arm which severely restricts any ducting between snorkel and airbox access as per Banshee's photo here.

The roofrack sits on the roof bars and rubber feet at the rear. Have a nose through this album.

The battery mainly powers the fridge, phone charging and LEDs. It's only 85-95 Ah I think, nothing spectacular, I do have solar back up for longer stationary periods, otherwise it's charged from a split charger and works fine. I've had weekends of fridge cooling from the battery alone, so obviously moving around isn't a problem as it charges as soon as you fire up the motor.
EDIT: What's going on with the site Banshee?
Does yours have front springs??
