Hello :)

Looking for some advice on new tyres... (still have the stock standard A/T 275/65R17 tyres, which served well whislst bundu bashing in Australia (not much mud, just alot of dust, massive holes, rock bed rivers etc)

The current ones are due for replacement, and after coming back from CORE down in Chichester, its very clear that some muddies are required.

With a 2" lift, just what should I be looking at for replacements? I have read this thread which provides some food for thought...

and advice appreciated.

cheers

BFG for me

Good quality grip ?
Good road drive ?
Good value ?
Long lasting ?
I can vouch for the above with BFG muds

Thanks Dadba :)

I have just been on the phone to AJS Tyres who inform me that a 17" rim could be problematic....

He has advised me to look for alternative 16 or 15 " rims.... any ideas?

-----
Update - just spoke to Nissan who can get me 16" rims if needed, but after speaking to Andy at AJS 4x4 tyres, I am confident there will be something for me :)

Down size rims

My 35inch BFG muds are on 15inch steel wheels.
Down sizing rims just gives you more rubber to grip with off road if thats what your after.

Hi guys

Thanks a stack for the tips, I'll be following them up now! The chaps at Nissan had no clue... they even told me I had the wrong tyres on (stock standard nissan - even matches their website specs)

Appreciate all the help!
