hello folks me again, i am sorry to turn to you lot to ask for some help again but i have been searching and searching and i cant get an answer and if i cant diagnose the fault by myself i am in trouble as the mechanics here in peth cast $130 per hour and that is for a cheap one :nenau
so i reach out to you guys as i am the most useless mechanic of all time,
i have a clutch issue
the clutch is hydraulic as you all know and it started off as a bit of a grind as it went in to reverse, i have a noisy shaft baring but that is ok for now, but what started as a grinding to get in to revers is now a refusal to select revers and hard to get in to 1st. i can get reverse if i turn the engine off then select it and start with the clutch depressed.
i have checked both master and slave and fluid levels and all are fine, the fluid is a dark grey colour so may need to change but the clutch wont seem to disengage fully so i cant select a gear,
all the reading i have done refers to the pedal being low and not coming all the way up... well mine is fine, it makes a squeaky noise as it has always done but it always comes back up and depresses fully and feels fine it just does not seem to be pulling the clutch back enough even thought the slave is moving the 'what you call it' fine,
can any one help me out or point me in the right direction as i am in a bit of a situation.
thank you again and sorry to ask but i am at a loose end.
cheers
