Oops, what have I done :lol
Just couldn't help myself.
Just for fun and I promise to make it cheap.
Anyone breaking I need a couple of door locks and key. I have ignition.
Also looking for +2" shocks.
Steel wheels 16" offset 0 min pref -20
I'll be running water methanol and a big old remap . Anyone had remap recently ?

Got a few jobs done on my farm find.

Rear end number plate was falling off so got a new one for the door.
Usual sort of thing and a couple of mini LEDs

Also moved the tow bar electrics socket to the rear quarter. Makes it easier to remove the tow bar for offroad days :)

Mud flaps coming off next and then the big job of removing the farm from the truck

did you get it from FB? My mate said one popped on there cheap.

I like those minimal reg lights

Yes mate Brecon faceache :D
I never understand the modern boy racer illuminating their number plates with flood light style LEDs :lol

Had the day off today and so spent it all playing with the Farm Find :)
I thought my luck was in for a change as the rear brakes had been completely replaced in the last couple of years I'd guess . Trouble was on closer inspection the slave cylinders were weaping a bit and possibly some axle oil ingress. The diff breather was completely blocked , so I'm hoping the axle oil may have been pressurised ??
Any road up, all new cylinders, shoes, discs and pads done today :D

Front end serviced up a treat luckily.

Even the auto hubs are all intact.
Antiroll bar D bushes done and rose joint drop links nearly finished.

Making up some brackets in the morning

Hopefully picking up some cheap wheels tomorrow too.
Bloody thing had 16s on the back and 15s on the front when I got it :doh

I like your style doing the drop links liked that straight away mate
I'm looking forward to see where you take this, My Shogun is a piece of shit, I will be getting rid of it for another Terrano ASAP.

Very surprised you are keeping the ARB's guess it is not destined for serious off road, Rick

Rear ARB is gone already but the front is very much a comfort thing . Even on the Black Pearl I reinstated the front ARB and couldn't find any downside offroad.
This toy will be much more of a laner and tow truck.:)

What's the plan for it then Pete?

Going to embrace electronics this time.
Got a German tuning box for it. Water meth for boy racer mode :naughty
Simple 1 1/2" susp lift and 31s
Inboard winching and :naughtydashboard gizmos :D

Drop links finished off today.

That shouldn't need doing again for a while :thumbs

I went on a retail therapy course this morning! Loved it big time and came home with these :D

I'll be getting the big hammer out tomorrow me thinks :lol

While I wait for longer shocks and coils to arrive I 've started to bling out the dash.
Binned the stock radio cassette and hazard switch and fitted this surround with replacement switch.

I have got some digital gauges for this truck that take up less space than old skool gauges. Plus I hope, easier to see :)

There's just enough plastic to get these in

Then repeat the cutting process with even less strength left in the surround plate :augie
Both gauges are now in

They're gluing in at the mo and once I get a minute I'll finish the black blending to cover my errors :doh
Got the wheels on for a larf. Cant wait for my springs to arrive , then I can go n play :naughty

Onwards

Bugger, I found an hole :doh

Bloody stupid polystyrene floor in the comercial is a splendid breeding ground the old tin worm :(
Hey ho, out with the old and bang in a new bit .
My local blacksmith bent a bit of 18gauge .

The boy now has a bead roller , so we ribbed my panel for extra pleasure :naughty
Here he is by the way, in his natural habitat :clap

Eventually we got the fiddly bits in near the arch to sill area

Then I got to get gloopy with the old seam sealer before spraying it all with WAR "buzzweld" :D

MOT passed this very afternoon so now I'm back onto fitting the bling
+2" shocks and springs to start :naughty

Looking for all the bits of trim now so I can run all my new wires for more goodies. I'm clearing my way through loads of spare project parts .
LED rear spots, rear view camera, snorkel and so on.
Onwards :thumb2

Bally hell Pete you have gone to town on that, you must have far too much free time on your hands, Rick

Boost gauge update

I forgot to update this but I eventually got round to the boost gauge install.
The electronic version I heart :D
Obviously I needed a pick up point , so went the easy way and put the bleed pipe on the end of the IC

It's in and sealed with my fav tigerseal

Then hose through a new bulkead grommet ( more of that later )

Bit of a bugger to get a shot of a blue LED gauge for some reason so you'll have to put up with this.

I managed all of 8.5 psi :(
Sooo, actuator adjusted and still only about 9.5
Sooooo, on ebay and ordered a boost controller , all of 14 quid.
Simply bleeds off a bit of boost before the actuator thus reducing what it sees pressure wise, PLUS no waste gate creep. Wound it all the way in and boom 15psi :D

OK much better :naughty

I do not understand Pete, £14 for what if you just remove the pipe to the waste gate then it cannot function so getting the max the turbo can produce?????? Rick

The waste gate would still open though once the sprung load is reached.
