new member, new meet????

hiya guys,

as im new here i was wondering what you guys get upto on a normal 4x4 meeting day.

so, with this in mind, i was wondering if in the next few weeks or so, any of the south east massive fancied meeting up at the hopfarm in east peckham for a chinwag and then onto some 4x4 driving fun?

i would love to be shown the ropes with these vehicles and learn how to handle the vehicle properly on an off road situation.

any ideas for a possible day out are welcome and if someone wants to organise it then thats fine.

hiya guys, what im going to do is try and arrange a little get together for the 18th july.

idea for the day..............

10 am meet at the hop farm in east peckham
11 am (or when everybody arrives) move on to somewhere like bodiam or scotney castle or head on to bewl water?

maybe after a couple of hours say around 1 or 2 pm, go back to the hop farm for a good ol feast and laugh?

throw some ideas in there guys and see if anyone fancies doing anything different.

there doesnt seem to be a lot happening on this site to be honest, however i would have been interested but im in northern cyprus on that date, off roading with some of my mates in G wagens :clap

went from bad to worse im afraid guys. what with one thng and another, i missed out on the mav!!!

however, i still have one in the pipeline and should be sorting it in a week or 2. apologies to zip for not getting back to you fella.

just to update. i have found a 2.4l mav about 10 mins from me and its in better shape than the one i missed out on cosmetically. the guy wants £400 for a quick sale as its clogging up his drive and was used by hi au-pair but she has now gone back home so this ain being used. he says it needs the tracking done on it as the steering wheel points right in a straight line and the drivers headlamp has a crack in it.

looks better in grey and i like the addition of the bars on the front.

i just hope swb versions are ok. i spose with the seats down it has a fair amount of space in it.
