My terrano has a misfire when reved freely around 2000 rpm and a misfire under light load. I've seen on ebay injector nozzles new or brand new injectors would I be as well replacing the injectors at 50 each or will the new nozzles make them like new. Also the terrano stalls easy at tick over but if run on veg oil it runs loads better any idears thanks craig

if u buy just the nozzles from ebay u will need them setup on ur injectors buy a diesel specialist if u buy new injector u wont just fit them as for miss fire round 2000 not under load that's just the different timing map nothing to worry bout but under load could also be air is fuel what colour exhaust do u get

Light grey smoke. It grey smokes when reved freely so won't that fail mot

Also what do you mean that if I buy a new injector you won't just fit them

Remove mini filter, replace fuel filter, check
Fuel Lines by tank filler for corrosion and leaks, clean or replace maf

Highly unlikely to be injectors

Sorry forgot a coma should read you wont, just fit new injectors but like everyone else is saying now u have just told us bout smoke doesn't sound like injectors

Yer thinking about it if it was a injector not not working right there would be no fuel to cause grey mist out the exhaust. So other than air in the fuel is there anything else it don't smoke when under load it looks like it's had new fuel lines as these are metal to rubber hoses to the filter then to the pump. Also what are the pumps like we had a volvo where the seal went around the shaft and was letting air in there. It starts instant even when cold but slightly lumpy as the glow plugs kick in and out.

The pipe u need to look at is near the tank as its metal and rusts

Lift boot carpet, there is a round inspection cover that give access to the fuel lines where they join the tank.

Also is yours a Td or Tdi inter cooler?
The engine management controls are different.
