need help fast please

I have a mot coming up in 2 weeks and all of a sudden when I put the indicator on to turn right or hazard lights on it interferes with the radio and twice I have heard a single beep like when you leave the lights on and get out and keeps blowing fuses . I think it could be a bad earth but can anyone help me and tell me where they are or if you think I could be something else ? . :thumb2

look like it maybe a problem which youve isolated to the right side, so its a case of checking all the connections for the indicators on the right side, prolly got some water ingress, thats the first thing i would do

How old is ya truck, newer models the hazzard switch is part of the radio. Radio interference could be coincidence?
Water conducts electricity, water bridging the correct terminals to earth should blow a fuse. Never happened to me yet but Ive normally made sure it can't happen. I have heard of it happening tho.
Not saying it is your problem just throwing an idea into the ring, feel free to ignore it if you feel that isn't your issue I wont be offended.

water in itself does not always blow fuses but over a short period a bridge of corrosion builds up and it is this that pops fuses, so it could be days after rain that the fuse pops, Rick

Or the corrosion has built up over time

dead short, postive wire is touching the body some where

Sounds like a poor earth in your lamp bulbholders or if you have recently changed a bulb could be a naff bulb.
I would check all your indicator and rear lamp bulbs and if there is any blackening of the glass bulb its a sure sign of poor earthing - replace them.
Just make sure the Radio is off when you go for MoT !

thanks for all the advice sprayed wd40 in the towbar sockets and had a dry day yesterday . no the interferences has stopped and no beeps . so I hope it was just water and road salt getting in

I would repeat process for a couple of weeks, it certainly wont hurt and will prevent rot. :thumb2

Ah!!!!! Just read all of this

I had this with the Maverick, sprayed all the contacts in the towbar electrics and it fixed it
