All set for tomorrow, wish me luck and let's hope he's not trying to stitch me up with a pear cause it looks way too good to break

I'm feeling a little sorry for myself at the minute :/

It's turned out to be a bit of a let down

Ended up taking it knowing it was a pear.

Long story I'll elaborate more later if I get time in front of the laptop tonight.

I'm currently on the drive in full waterproof outfit stripping the LWB so I have space to put the SWB on the drive next to Terrance

Stay tuned, Banshee is SAD

Your God's might be telling you it's time for the TROL.
TROLPOWER.:thumbs

Well it's not the diamond that I thought I'd purchased and is in need of 2 new front body mounts, a new cross-member and a work around the rear arches to say the least, both sills have gone too. Cleverly hidden in the bush on the eBay advert was a blue wing from a mistral that has the hole for the aerial with tape over it.

To top it off the LPG system that is fitted works but is a Russian tank and doesn't have a UK filling port as I discovered when we pulled onto Shell with it on the trailer!!! Anyone know if there is an adaptor?

yes there adaptors as when i looked into doing a elgrand with lpg i read that uk filling stations have a different fitting than the eu and adaptors were needed because of uk people having trouble with filling outside the uk a good lpg specailst should be able to help or google it
try this link www.lpgshop.co.uk/filling-adapters-lpg-station/ these convert the uk ones to europe but they must be able to do it the other way too:thumb2

I took this for another quick hoot around the lanes by me today and it goes very well. I even stumbled upon an LPG filling station that I didn't know existed selling LPG for 57p a litre :thumb2

Only problem though is that again the guys nozzle at the station didn't have the right fittings again to attach to my tank as it's a European one apparently which has an M10 thread.

If the tank fills and maintains pressure and runs without fault I think I'm going to hang onto this truck :naughty Can't hurt having a couple of long term projects :naughty

I'll post another pic of it this weekend as it's now stood on the 17" sports alloys from the LWB breaker I had that I've now finally got rid of :bow

Update on the Maverick

Not really sure of it's future if i'm totally honest. In an ideal world I'd have liked to have slapped an MOT on it, insured it and started using it back and forward from work until I got Terrance sorted. Turns out that it's going to need more work than Terrance to get it straight in some ways :(

First change I've made to it is to swap the auto hubs for a set of fixed so that I could fit the 17" sport alloys onto it from the 2005 that I've broken recently (sorry for the poor quality pic, last picture I took on my broken phone)

My M10 UMLV valve converter came last week for the LPG setup on the truck, I hot footed it down to the farm that sells LPG near me and asked for £20 worth which seemed to take the tank to 3/4 full :thumbs

I'll check if it's all in there still when I get back from Austria next week. But it certainly went well on it at the time :thumb2
