So I won this on eBay recently and hoping to collect it on Saturday. As you can see from the pics, it looks very very clean and shouldn't need much doing to it to get it through an MOT.

Its a very early 2.4 Petrol with an LPG conversion that i've been advise dif fully working :thumbs

I intend to hang onto it for a while and use it as my daily driver :thumb2

What do you guys think?

That looks tidy and should be a great daily drive and cheap to run. Good luck

Looks good Zac. :thumb2
Hopefully nowt much wrong with it.

Erm, has it been used since 1995/6 :nenau

Very nice Zak :thumb2 :thumb2

I think I need to move somewhere with land/a drive.
Very nice that.

Saw this on ebay. Looks like it would make a fun little run about. So how many Terranos do you have now?
I mean worse case you could always adapt the lpg system for your silver truck.:D:D

Looks pretty nice on the photos.
Hopefully not very much work needs to be done and you have a nice Terrano eeeehm Maverick on the driveway :thumbs

Looks like it could be a great runabout. Gas will make it super cheap to run

Nice one....:thumb2

Looks very clean, and tidy, LPG should make a good economical runner......keep us up to speed with fuel economy etc.....:thumb2

Nooo not lpg valve seat recession here we come. Love how nobody tells you the long term effects of an lpg conversion.

I've not heard of this before :( what should I be looking out for? And what are the tell tale signs

I'm not very clued up on petrol engines at all and even less knowledge of LPG :/

But I do love a good repair so not really phased by it

Essentially what happens is the exhaust valve seats recess into the head due to the lack of lubrication running on lpg. The valve train will go quieter as the clearance dissapears, Then is will start to misfire and you will lose compression on cylinders until the valve seat breaks up completely. You can of course check all this with a compression test ;)

Beautiful!!!! Thanks mate ill look out for this, I didn't realise until I read his listing that the bottom end of those 2.4 petrols are from the 240SX drift car!!! Hopefully a nice strong engine then.

I know Rick has had a few petrols and Elty has had one which is why I wasn't scared off by it when I was bidding. I'm especially excited by the LPG. I can't wait for adventures out on that!!!! Laning on LPG in September?

I ran a V8 discovery and a 4.0lt Jeep on LPG for a long while and had no problems at all. I think a few miles on petrol each journey might help with any problems..?

Zac, Bin the 2.4 and go for the sr20det now that would be a proper maverick in sheeps clothing lol.
