re size tyre.jpg my yokohama,s were geolander go12 it turned out the tyres were £100 each inc vat & all the bits ,bobs..they look well for an on/off road tyre tho ... snow bring it on:lol...just found out my front pipes blowing now next job:(
 
Cheaper than mine,just booked mine in for a pair of geo's, middle and rear section exhaust.Total cost 365, tyres with balancing valves ect were 111.90
 
Rprobably quoted pre vat the nasty hidden one they don't have to quote till after you agree to the job
 
could have sworn he said ALL INCLUSIVE on the phone but when i got there it was £78 + vat my total £202 still cheaper than many others tho ..at least there done all 4 are now sorted for a good while now

That's what I thought, but to be honest the AT's had pretty poor reviews while the GO12's have excellent reviews and are allegedly incomparable in the snow! I researched them a little and if you look closely there are tiny serrated grooves in the tread bocks, apparently these pick up a small amount of snow and use it as grip - the theory is nothing grips better than snow on snow - like making a snowman I suppose. And in my limited experience of them I have to say they seem to do what they claim :thumb2
 
Don't know what ur folks are moaning at original spec tyres on my pathy were £165 per tyre so went to geolanders at £135 per corner would happier payed £100 per corner and don't even go down the road tax route lol
