Hi, newbie here! Now have a huge Di SVE sat outside my house and I love her! Sadly I don't think the guys who sold her to me got her really fit and I am worried about wheel hubs as one seems to be missing and only one Nissan cap can be seen. The tyres look great and all runs fine. I think I need to get her somewhere to be checked. Should I use a Nissan dealer or will my local garage be okay? 54 plate with 90K under her belt. There's a few cosmetic issues but her engine looks fab and again massive!! I'm amazed :) Any advice would be great...I expect I will have to pay more money :(

welcome

its a great place here, loads of info

where in to south west are you??

Welcome to the club. It's a great resource for all sorts of info and has a very friendly bunch of contributors with a wide spread of knowledge.

Being able to take it to a Nissan dealership would be great, but I imagine expensive. Do you do your own spanner work at all?

There was a list put together (I think) of tried and tested garages. The search option may help. Also many people recommend Milners for bits.

Good luck

Alan

If you have issue's with your Patrol, can't you take it back, or did you buy it private?

Oh , and welcome to the club.

Dealers are generally rubbish, unknowledgable and expensive, so try and find a decent 4x4 specialist if you can.

re the missing hub....sounds weird, can you post a photo?

It was the cap on rear wheel, all sorted now :) Aerial needs doing but am getting that done. Had her serviced at my local place and all seems good, although a new sound today from engine, but hopefully nothing drastic. Thanks for the help.
