so whats it like to drive then? co si read their road manners werent that great? what about the steering, is it vague, or solid at high speeds? as an example, i find my SWB maverick really nice to drive for a 4x4 but a little skittish...

is it a auto karl ? ... the one i looked at was a auto and had a lotus handling pack too

It may have had suspension design input by lotus:thumb2 but don't be missled it will still handle like a bucket of watery Sh!t when compared to a Lotus!!

I had a Lotus Elite with every thing by Lotus and corners were amazing to behold:clap

bet that was shite off road though?

yes briggie its an auto lol

yes it has the handling by lotus basicly is it lotus parts and fitted by lotus and setup by them

on the road its solid and planted but being higher than a elise it dont corner quite so well lol

it is alot firmer on the road but their maybe a button to release the arb's and make it nice and soft for off road

the bigggest thing is comfort, i have heated seats, electricly controlled seats full aircon adn climate control, leather seats that are really soft and 2 arm rests on the chairs, i have a similar hand throttle but it is a twisty knob and you can set it just like cruise controll

its taller than the mav and i may be able to get 33's on as standard but need to find out more it may be a little more economical than the mav as well as have done 60 miles on £10

well, i thnk youve got an awesome car there mate well done, a real good find for the money.

"Quitting" doesnt apply to turbo run on, cooling fan run on etc :thumb2

As above

I've had turbo timers on all my petrol performance cars as have thousands all over the world.
Never known an insurance company to question it or the police. :thumbs
Its designed to bring everything back down to normal temps & cool rather than just shutting off. :thumbs
Thought about putting 1 on me Mav but there's no point on a diesel 4x4...
"If" you wanted to remove it, it should only have 2 wires to the ignition & 1 to the handbrake. :thumbs

You up for the next Welsh lane weekend.?

Can you get some pics of the electric dissconects for the ARBs :sly
Sounds yummmmmy :naughty

i dont know that mine has them just was told that it could lol

i am thinking about removing the timer but not 100% their is alot of aftermarket stuff all over the place

i may be up for the next weekend depending on when it is

Why remove it? They are a dear piece of kit and it will only preserve the life of your turbo :nenau

is their any point to it with it being a turbo and i tend to drive normally under 2000rpm so the turbo woudlnt be spooling :nenau:nenau

or am i missing the point :augie

also their is so many electrical items in the car at the mo and if it is anything like the stereo wiring its going to electrocute me lol

take it off then if you think you dont need it

Give it to me if you like :clap
