What a legend, you need a medal for all that hard work buddy

Top job seriously!!! :thumb2

I dunno about that dude, still a long way to go yet but now I can see a bit of progress I'm a bit more chilled out with it.
Still some awkward bits that I've got to figure out how I'm gonna do it too.

Ran out of gas so plays halted for the weekend, got a few jobs done still though.

Snorkel fitted

Sorted the wiring and plugs so the indicators are in the fog lights

Awesome!!!!!!! I want to see this truck in the flesh you need to come out and play mate and come to one of the laning days :thumb2

Ahh that's a real pain when you run out of gas like that. Still a chance to have a well earned break and recharge your batteries. As ever good work though.

running out of gas is a real pain, I have 3 bottles so not going to happen again, great work by the way some of it really awkward, do not envy you at all, regards Rick

Going for a bigger bottle this time I think, I'm quite pleased to say I've never welded properly before. It's not the prettiest but aslong as it holds then it'll be sound, I'll cover it in underseal/waxoil anyway.

Some of it is going to be tricky and I'm scratching my head as to how to get around it but I'm sure it'll get there lol.

I'm hoping it'll be done before the crap weather hits so the next group laning day I'll hopefully be there :thumb2

Think I've found the source of my water leak thanks to your photos. Where you have cut the inner wing out below the brake servo there is a rubber grommet below the wiring loom. That grommet is around the location of a patch that someone before us welded on our truck. I think that grommet has melted due to heat.

I'll be going over all the grommets with some silicone while I can get to them and sealing them all. The big wiring harness one has my amp lead going through and there's one behind the intercooler that the vac pipe goes through for my boost gauge.

Yeah good idea, especially if you are going to do some wading in your truck.

I'm wanting to get more jobs done on my truck tomorrow but I've got to go out to a wedding:doh Hopefully though we will get the last bit of welding done in the morning before we have to clear up.

Coming along now mate.
Have you tried Adams gas in Nottingham for a refill??

I've not mate tbh, the bottle came as part of the package and is 30 to refill but the guy that did my exhaust deals with bigger bottles and says he can sort me out. Gonna nip and see him in the morning with the filler neck anyway so I'll see what he what he can do for me :thumb2

Got a bit excited cleaning the rear bumper bar :D

First wing repeater hole smoothed and ready for primer

Gave one of the arches a quick lick of black just to try.
Looks like I'll be doing them all properly before refitting :lol
So much better than the original grey :thumb2

Shackles arrived today, supposed to come with the snorkel but where it packaged so Adam got them straight out.

Painted the 3 arches I could manage to get to.

That's an interesting Oil Cap, never seen one of those before on a Maverick or Terrano, maybe aftermarket? :nenau
