It is pretty awesome and the pics don't do it justice. Makes mine look like a matchbox toy.

My mates td5 makes mine look small....

I know a few on here have extended their wheel arches, but that LR needs to extend his.
What is the legal amount allowed for the tyre to extend beyond the bodywork?

There 50mm arches, does have a bit of tyre poke but says if he gets a warning he'll change to 70mm ones. Coppers where out in force here on Sunday night and never questioned it though tbh.

When I looked on the net, it wasn't clear, some say, arches should be level with edge of tyre, but that seems to be applicable to lorries etc, not sure for cars, and others say no tyre tread should stick out beyond arches, some others say 75% of the thre should be covered, so who knows?

MOT have very little to say, but it is the police that enforce it... grey area, but some people have had three points for it.

I guess if they want an excuse to stop you... then they can check other things.
So less enforcement... more en-farce-ment lol :augie

Can't enforce that, as that would then make most Jeeps unroadwrothy

Boost gauge wired up. Just waiting on the vac hose turning up so I can plumb it in.

Today's been one of those days :lol

Fitted all new vac hose, plumbed in the boost gauge various ways and ended up with it in the actuator piping. It's not ideal and not greatly accurate but it'll do till I can figure where to put a tap in the inlet manifold.
Also had to start a re-work the gauge mount as it fouled slightly behind the dash.

Tapped the intercooler for the boost gauge, much better with a more accurate reading.
Now hits 10psi and holds 8 whereas before when it was into the actuator it'd struggle to hit 8 and hold 6psi.

I'm not sold on that boost guage vac pipe mate the way you've gone into the intercooler like that, you can see the threads still so surely that will cause the intercooler to leak and ultimatley lose pressure :nenau

All sealed nice and tight with no leaking, the guy that did my exhaust and is making the catch can did it so I have every faith in it. Gauge reads Boost much better there. Actuator wasn't an accurate read and causes spikes so I've since been informed. Drives much better now too :thumb2

Spent a few hours at the weekend refreshing the new box
It needed a 2nd top on it as with only one it flexes too much, started to take the port surround off and whatever it was glued down with took half the original top with it :lol
2 new tops needed.

Tidied up the insides while it was in pieces

Bit of filler on the surround ready to be smoothed off

2 new baffles cut and fitted, still need trimming but my jigsaw decided it wasn't going to play ball so it stopped play :(

Flipping heck took me a while to realise that was a sub.are you sure it's big enough?
