Bought as a work horse to tow a horsebox and General stable duties to save my car getting battered :D

Dog likes it

So does the cat

Only things done so far are removed the dodgy front tints and fitted a decent stereo

Plans are:

Tidy it up, needs a pair of front wings ideally but they'll do for now.
Some better/bigger tyres
De chrome it, looks horrid
Track rods either side as there seized and the tracking needs doing.
Remap or chip whichever as I feel it needs more oomph :)

The guys a girl called jaz. Best pal for near on 10 years :thumb2

I rather like the guard/attack bagpuss on the bonnet......:thumb2

Really smart truck...:thumb2

Found a little quiet lane by me so went and got a bit of mud on it as it was to clean :D

Looks much better now lol

Took the steering wheel off the car to swap onto it.

Get a boss ordered this week, just researching airbag resistors, if anyone has any links to ones they've used that'd be great.

It's also going in at the end of the month for a speaker upgrade. 4 6.5" speakers and 2 8" subs in a custom box so I don't lose much boot space.

Need some tunes while out on the road...

Man after my own heart:thumbs if you need pic's of the baffles I made up to fit 6.5" speakers into my doors just ask & if your building your own enclosure can send you some links for enclosure program to work out the volume etc

Just a word of caution on the steering wheel....I had an Air Portable L/R once....don't ask a mistake, but you live and learn....however, it came with a small diameter steering wheel, and was hell on earth to steer on road, off road it was sometimes impossible....:(

Now I know it did not have power steering, like your truck, but the smaller diameter gives it less leverage on the O/D of the wheel, makes it a whole lot more sensitive to steering corrections.

320mm so not that much smaller and was great in the car. Ran one on my old 200tdi disco too without bother ;)

Sweety, pics of the baffles would be awesome cheers.
The box is being built by a mate who owns an audio install business round my way :)

I made my baffles from 18mm MDF but 20-25mm would prob have been better so the speaker basket cleared the inner door skin easier. I used the old speakers as a template for the mounting points on the baffles so they would mount up to the factory fixing points but as your mate is an installer he should be able to easily make them up

I thought it was black at first tbh, it's not till the light catches it that you can see it's purple.

Cheers dude :thumb2

They are the same odd size in the back to if I'm correct? 4x6?
The box will only need to be 7" high due to me opting for 2 jbl gto804's only 8" but get decent reviews and I'm not after roof flexing bass as the space is needed :D

I'm not sure what size the speakers are in a SWB T2 as it's been so long since I had mine:augie but TBH in both of the T2's i've had the rear speaker have been faded out as it gave a better stereo imaging which most people recommend doing anyway if running a sub:thumbs All of my speakers are JBL's & they sound great plus handle everything I throw at them my sub is an old 10" JBL GT3 rated at 200w RMS yet i'm feeding it 250w RMS & it loves it:clap
Sealed enclosures are always smaller than ported but ported ones are louder & better if your only using a small amp. Not sure if you have the spec's for your amp with the recommended enclosure sizes if not they are on here http://www.jbl.com/resources/Brands...cuments/en-US/BoxesandParameters/GTO 804D.pdf i'll have a little play with my design programs & put up some enclosure sizes for you so you can see how much space it'll take up in your boot

Ok just had a quick play about a sealed enclosure with both subs sharing the internal volume (0.600ft^3) works out at 20"L x 12"H x 7"D, a ported enclosure with if split into 2 so each sub has it's own internal volume would be 20.75"L x 12.25"H x 12"D each section will need a port 2.5" diameter & 9" long (drain pipe works great to make ports) if you wanted both subs to share the same internal volume the ports would need bend adding as they will work out longer but that's easily done but port lengths are going off the tuning frequency JBL recomends which is 40Hz, personally i'd prob tune a bit lower say 37Hz:rolleyes: JBL recommends a 40Hz tuning point for my sub but I tuned it down to 33 HZ:thumb2
