Hi Steve, just been reading this, she's a fighter mate, it's the red hair you know, makes for a much more sparkier person and you have a beautiful little girl there.
Best wishes
fred

1st time i've seen this post as i'm newish, she is an absolutely cutie and a wee fighter too! All the best and I know she's gonna keep going from strength to strength x:grouphug

Well, another update and this time not good news :( we went to Birmingham children's hospital today for our 3 month check up and the results weren't good, the scar tissue in robynn's liver is getting worse and her liver is starting to harden because of it which means the blood flow is now being restricted, they have told us she will soon need a liver transplant :(

Steve that is a shame mate  I'm sure they'll do the best for her and she does have youth on her side :thumb2
Good luck mate :rose

oh dear, it's hard to even think of something to say to that. So it must be very hard to deal with. Thinking of you all mate !

Still quite new to the forum, so I've been spending more time in the technical section fixing stuff rather than looking at the 'vPub' pages - man this sort of stuff is heart breaking.

I have an elderly aunt who recently had a complete liver transplant for totally different reasons and she has never looked better, fingers and everything else crossed for you.

BTW, in that last picture, was she saying, "Where's the 4x4 transfer lever in this thing?"

found this has been posted today on the bbc website

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-23158955

which holds great news for robynn's future with her liver disease aswell as the news on the radio today about wales decision to now not need a donor card for organ donation of dead people, seems harsh i know but for those of us that are in the position of knowing one day our child will need such an operation, i'm sorry but its good news

I am one of those that know's my body is of no use to me once I am gone, so if it can be used to help someone still alive great, I also do not go to graves to mourn, this is done inside my head, so that is the message I send to my survivors, glad she is still doing OK, Rick

Yes i opted in some time ago Steve,i hope the whole country does the same,we all deal in these situations differently but i hope you find some comfort in reading the messages on the board, knowing that we may never see each other and yet we all close,
