Just thought id update this.... Problem sorted turns out it was the pipe from the filter to the ip. New 8mm pipe and no more misfire on start up. Now i just need the weather to come warmer and I can get on with rust proofing the underside. Just out of curiosity does anyone know what the figure is for the standard boost is ive read a few threads but some say 10 psi and others anywhere up to 15 psi. Cheers again for all your help.

Cheers banshee... Not got a boost gauge on yours by any chance have you? I know what the actuators on these tb25s are like they weaken over the years and want to re-adjust back to standard pressure.
