Hopefully with correct Photobucket link this time!:doh

they look nice...

but stearing stops could do with some grease i think

Looks like it Zippy, there is grease on them but it's covered in Spanish mountain track dust!

I've not used Milner for these, but some have an offset like a crooked shank.

Compare these to yours...

I guess these are the wrong ones. :nenau
Someone will be along soon to compare them to theirs from Milner.

Mine are perpendicular to the wishbone.

If you use these they won't last too long......
They need to be central to allow movement either way.

Hmmmm someone had some that didn't last long...
Maybe this is the reason. :doh

They look different to the ones in the workshop download.

Chaz

The drop link the other side leans the other way, so ARB is central - I think Milners have sent me the wrong ones!

they look the correct ones and lets face it you can't get much else in there,if the other is leaning the other way i'd say the arb is bent or bushes on the lower arms are gone allowing the arms to sit to far in,but if the other is leaning the sameway the arb needs centralising, have you tried driving it about

I don't think the arb is bent, as the old drop links (the ones I removed to fit these) did sit perpendicular to the wishbone, which would also mean the wishbone bushes are probably ok too. I centralised the arb by tightening the drop links to the wishbones before tightening the saddle-type clamps at the centre/front of the arb. It drives perfectly, and cornering is definitely better than it was with the old drop links. What I will probably do is order another pair and keep them in reserve in case this pair do fail prematurely.
Thanks for all your advise guys.

It will be the bushes that go first if anything.

How level is your truck....I can't remember what the end of the wishbone is like but it looks a bit level to me...front wheel arch ought to be about 2cm lower than the back relative to top of tyre.

Well, I got the T2 back from the Spanish garage this morning after they allegedly tried to sort out the poor handbrake (again) - told my daughter they had checked the brake shoes and they were ok, so they adjusted it again. First impression, the handbrake doesn't come up as far, about four-five clicks, whereas the workshop section states six! Second impression, the handbrake is still c**p, so I thought, sod it, it's going to be a diy job.
Off I went to an auto accessory shop in Marbella, about 18 kms away to get a trolley jack and a pair of axle stands. The road into Marbella goes down a long twisting road, and I thought "I can smell a burning clutch, must be the car in front".
So I parked outside Norauto and the smell is stronger, then I see smoke coming from my right-hand rear wheel, and it's so hot I can hardly touch it!
You guessed it, all the prats had done is tighten the cable, and didn't even bother to check if the shoes were binding!
Then it occurred to me, they couldn't have checked the shoes because I forgot to give them the locking wheel nut adaptor and the locking wheel nut shows no signs of being butchered to get it off.
I will never criticise UK garages again!
