Buuttt....
If you follow the flexible pipe, where does that go? On mine it goes up to the Load Sensing valve, which is on the chassis, infront of the fuel tank, above the axle on the off side.

Well, I just went out and compared our two...
My 99 has both ABS and the Load Sensing valve, but only has one feed from the load sensing valve to the rear brakes. They have a splitter on the rear diff feeding both rear brakes.

Load sensing valve (well Spring anyway, could not get a good picture)

Suz's 2001 T2 has ABS, but no Load sensing valve. It still has the splitter in the read diff for the rear brakes

Interesting, I was saying how Suz's brakes feel sharper than mine, and Rick asked of they had the same servo... No

This picture is, if it is at the back of the car near the rear axle, where, the LSV would be if you had one...sorry hit wrong button so continuing on.
From the 3 way connector to Flexi connector:

From there to the LSV which then has 2 pipes going to straight through connector (located up above clutch flexi connector)

From there 1 go's to Master:

And the other to Abs control:http://s20.postimg.org/60enr4ivh/20160427_141840_ABS_Control.jpg
So if I cant save LSV (why bother) do I blank the feed from master at the straight through connector & keep the feed from the Abs control.
Thanks in advance
[/QUOTE]I can't find this on either of my T2's

I think it just makes it easier to fit the pipe work, handy for me anyway.
So I take it that at that point, one of those pipes is the rear feed from the Master cylinder, and the other is off of the ABS control unit.
If you were to blank the one off the ABS unit and run the other straight to the rear brakes, you would bypass the LSV, but what would that do to the ABS, as effectively you have now bypassed that to the rear wheels as well.
You can't take the feed from the front ABS unit to the rear, as you will then be doing away with your dual circuit brakes.
So from what I see, you can't easily just remove the LSV and stay road safe, as I dread to think what could happen if the rear wheels locked, while the front ones were doing anti-lock manoeuvres..
Also the ABS feeds front & rear separately
I wonder if that is why the LSV seems overly complicated, as it uses the front feed that has the ABS on it to modulate the feed to the rear brakes, so they brake in time with the fronts.
All I know is I was all geared up to do this & now :doh
I know, Rick just said blank the front pipe, maybe he didn't realise I have ABS, some have ABS but no LSV so is that possible for me :augie
ABS or not just blank the front pipe, although it goes to the LSV there is no mixing of the front/rear fluid, it just pressurises the "bright" shuttle, I think the reason the rear is only fed with one pipe is because the LSD may interfere with correct ABS operation, Rick
yes the pipe that is level with the bleed screw is front the front brake, I have an ABS car here but it does not have the load valve so I am guessing it will tee into one of the front brake pipes from the master cyl, I would not imagine it could be connected to the output of the ABS as the results would not be good, I can see that shuttle valve kicking back and forward if the ABS kicked in which would also make the rears kick in and out needlessly, Rick
