Hi lads and lassies,

I have finally found a suitable workshop on a farm where I can store my trailor and tools but also can get myself a welder. So im looking for advice I am going to flat floor the back of the terrano and want to put a box section/ mesh bulkhead in behind the front seats.

So wheres safe to mount it to?
Anyone done this?
Is it legal/ I should probably tell my insurance company?

Ill keep the seats for when I sell it but I want to make it a bit safer.
I also am on the lookout for mesh window protectors.

Looking forward to the replies...

cheers

I fitted a van vault type box in my truck & I bolted it to the existing seat bolts so I would imagine you could do same with bulkhead.

No worries mate theres no great rush I still have to convince the mrs that having no back seats is a great idea haha.

But also want want want a trol.

You could buy my trol 4K and nothing needs doing even has the cage in the back already. It would help make my mind up about moving overseas again hehehehehe

Or you could use a small trailor and keep the back seats.

I have a 10ft/6 trailor coming in a few weeks but like to keep my hand tools drills etc in the back and I had a close call the other week when braking hard when an eegit pulled out in front of me
