well what an eventful week. Tyresreplaced a very nice set of General Grabber AT2s. same size, tyre whine is an octave higher than the ones that came off - I love it!
Replacement shocks have arrived I will recommend the supplier, when they realised the mistake was in the Monroe catalogue they have swopped them, and covered all costs.
and I thought I would get the tyres muddy last night before leaving work, we have an overgrown field which is a bit of rough ground. Unfortunately the truck got hung up on a mud pile, the rear offside wheel ended up with a 3 inch gap under it. took me ages (alone until my daughter and family arrived to help) jacked it up and put a pile of paving slabs and a plank under the wheel until it made contact, a bit of a shove from the family got the rear nearside over the top of the hummock. 4 wheel drive worked well but could do with a diff lock. all this in a field of 3ft high thistles.......
