Hi I'm new to this fine forum of yours but I thought if anyone can help it'd be you guys!
I have a 2002 2litre petrol maverick which I love, but I had a problem with not being able to get it in any gear at all & so the AA had to tow me home. Then mysteriously it started working again with only occasional wobbles getting into a gear. Garage said it was most likely the clutch master cylinder and tried to get a replacement part. Ford said not making the part so tried the terrano equivalent - this didnt fit as is quite different and any others that seem to be available online are all wrong.. Mine has no little plastic fluid reservoir thingie on the top and is fed by a tube from the brake fluid. Garage have said drive it til it breaks again and then scrap it but this seems a bit harsh - it is a good runner, quite good fun to drive, handy for the dog & for playing in the mud and snow and I want to keep it!! Any words of wisdom or advice welcome!
