Maverick 2.7 td power steering pump replacement

The power steering pump on my Mav has been a bit suspect for the last year or so but last couple of weeks has become a lot worse!! to do a 3 point turn you need arms like Sylvester Stallone!!
Only works with v.high revs, not lost any fluid, but is still ok when driving normally. I would like to know if this is normal for a 95 mav or will another pump illiminate this? I know how to take it off as it's been off to access mini filter, but do you have to bleed a power steering pump on installation?
One more thing, best place to get a good 2nd hand pump?

normal in terms of its failed/failing, you cerrtain the belt isnt slipping?? but it sounds to me like its going...

as for second hand, speak to CNCfabs on this site, hes the breaker and i believe he has your year vehicles

Belts were renewed when i did the mini filter as they were perished in a couple of places, 99% sure its not slipping. Just becoming a pain as Mrs pulls horse trailer with it occasionally and dont think she would be able to turn it if she had to!!
