Maf sensor

Anybody ever came accross a Maf sensor made by Pierburg in a 2.7tdi?

The rest of the system is bosch but maf is pierburg could this be the reason the car plays up so much?

Maybe someone found something that fitted but isnt the right one:nenau
Pissburg did parts for VW I think, crap carbs

yeah I have been doing some web searchs and they always bring up a lot of german cars wih them

From what I have been reading, people seem to fit them as they are a cheaper alternative to the Bosch on other cars, but it seems the outputs vary a little.

well mine seems to have been butchered to make the plug fit which leads me to believe its not for my car

we tried my brother in laws on it the other morning and a can honestly say it felt a bit more lively

but Iam only 6ft and hes a right big lad so better to hand it over really.
