Not sure if a plug&play version is available for Hitachi maf? I am a bit iffy about electrical work...

Would it be possible to send it to mainland Europe (Belgium), at all?

It's not plug and play as such, I looked into getting the correct plugs and sockets to make so, but they were prohibitilly expensive, as we needed to buy a minimum of 50 of each, and then they worked out at about £30 a shot, before fitting etc.

It's actually not to bad to fit, and if you know anyone with any basic knowledge of how to wire up something like a car stereo, or a pair of spot lamps, then they should be able to do it.

Basically, it needs and earth and 12V supply, which can be got from the MAF, or anywhere else convenient on the car, then it just needs the one of the signal wire from the MAF cut, one side connecting to one wire on the MAF amp, and the other side connecting to the other wire on the MAF amp.

Ideally you could also do with taking a voltage reading, before you start messing around, just so you have a point of reference when setting up, as my MAF was already actually reading quite high before I fitted the amp, and If I tweaked the amp much more than a couple of turns, it actually caused the car to go into limp mode. Took a week or so to get it perfect, but now I can really tell the difference between when it is on, and off, specifically when towing the caravan.

OK, thanks for the reply! In that case, I'll have one as well please - if sending it to Belgium is possible.
