Having only recently bought my 1999 Terrano II S 2.7 diesel, I want to do a full service so that I know that everything is up to date.
I assumed that all of these trucks had limited slip differentials in the rear axle, but wanted to make sure so that I get the right oil. I jacked the back up today so that both back wheels were in the air and with the handbrake off turned the offside rear wheel. The nearside one turned in the opposite direction indicating a standard diff.
Was my assumption incorrect and there are some terranos non LSD equipped? Is this catagorical proof that I don't have a LSD?
Thanks in anticipation of your help!
Cheers,
Ian.
