Just taken a few days of from work to get a couple of jobs round the house done, wizzed through them so turned my attentions to are terrano service parts in hand first job air filter simple enough even for a diyer anyhow the last garage who serviced it must have had workshop full chimps as they installed the air filter in its polly bag 8O  they did pop a few holes in it first though.
Anyhow now got to the bottom of the clutch pedal prob bought some new plastic bushes from my local nissan dealer set about stripping the bottom part of the dash out so i could get at it properly instead of laid on yer back with 8 pints of blood in ya turnip, and once i had some lighting in there the prob became very obvious the pedal box that the clutch pedal mounts in has almost fell apart from stress cracks its broken up around both bolts that fix it to the bulk head so new one ordered for tomorrow morn so if you have a low pedal ya need to check this out,not read anything on here bout this so im asuming its maybe a prob that no one has found yet id put some pics up of the pedal assembly but as im a puter fool ill try and get the wife to do this later.
Right now its stopped raining im gona go c what else is wrong

quite a few stories of pedal box falling apart usally gets atacked with the mig welder lol!

Must have missed them stories was gona tig it back together but its beyond that typical lol

after fitting the new pedal box yesterday its plain to c why they fail no support between the bolt mounting on the box and the bulk head only needs to be over tightened and itll stress the already fragile box making some sleeves tomorrow dont fancy another 90 squid 8O

mmm.... this could be the only problem i have found then so far

we test drove the maverick all was fine,

The bloke drove it all the way up to bawtry 2 hour drive (as he was going there plus closer for me a few days later) I then drove the car again, all was fine.
Loaded it on trailer come home about 35mins away.. went to unload it and it wouldn't go in gear clutch peddle was really low and only moved about 10mm. I had to stop engine put it in reverse and start it up in gear to unload

After getting very P*** off and thinking just my luck!!!!!! I went back out. I was able to left the peddle by hand back to top started engine and.... clutch worked went in gear?

any ideas :?:

Well just searched even more and looks like a common problem, feel better now
