Like all offroading, have a spy first and do only what YOU are confident with.
We'll hold your hand if you like, dont be ashamed of not doing a section either:cool:
We have to drive home again and come Monday I need to be in my truck for work:thumb2

Well the only thing I've done so far is removed my Side steps, which as made a hell of a difference already. I will be going however in my MAV now, like you said just do what I feel confident with.

The only other thing I want to do at the mo. is lift the front using the torsion bar, can anyone explain and maybe show me a pic of what it looks like, so I can do this, is it easy?? YES I'm really thick.

piece of cake....plenty of threads but basically underneath about a foot or so behind the front wheel on either side are two 19mm (I think) bolts with a nut and locknut.

You just loosen the locknut, which is on top, then hold the main nut (also on top of course) still while you wind the bolt head underneath clockwise to crank the bars up, then retighten the locknut when finished.

Do it so its almost the same height front and back (top of tyre to wheelarch) but if anything with the front slightly lower.

It does take a bit of driving to settle - round the block won't be enough - so check it again after 2-3 days and readjust as necessary.

EDIT: check Rustics post in this thread, its a good summary.
