OOOO, rear window tint, hmmm, likes a chalenge then does you boyo?:augie
I've still to do my back one and was wondering whether a hair drier might help bend things a bit or just do a few strips:nenau
Ley me know how you go, good luck:cool:

you tube vids...(no ot those ones)

I feel pretty confident I can smash it, got my spray bottle, knife, credit card and soft cloth.

might do it in 1 or 2 horizontal strips, but as the rear window has its own black border it doesn't have to be 2 neat, only problem is trying to match the new tint to the existing ones, are they blue or dark tint (not limo)

??

It's not the edges I'm worried about :augie it's the ruddy complex curve thing going on!
So like you think 2 strips and slice along the heater line:thumbs
Mines black limo :sly

The spray would be hard to get an even finish, even for me:cool:

Any secrets you would like to release to getting a professional job with the film? I have had acouple of go's at it, and find it almost bloody impossible to get every wrinkle out...

Tim.

I'll try and find the thread I did for it:augie
Something to do with mmmm black!:nenau
Anyway, get your windows squeeky clean first V/IMPORTANT.
Dont do it when its baking hot or you will get vext too quick and the film will dry too quick:p
Spray a water/soap mix on the window and then bang the film on it. Take your time now to dab it into place. It should move about easily at this stage. Spray some more on it and then start to press out the bubbles and extra water. Use a proper spreader for this as credit cards scratch.
A squeege thing will work.
Dont rush it  Simples:thumbs

K&N

20 min to fit!

Sounds diffrent, feels a bit more pokey (could just be me)

But will give results after a long run!

Oh Bugger...

Before I set off on suday I may of over filled the egine oil. not to sure,

Anyway did the 180 mile run, everything fine. moday evening drove to asda (5 miles) everything fine.

went out to the truck this evening, and theres a big dried drip mark from my space out to the road and down to where I drove off . checked the oil and other levels everything seems fine, started her up moved back and forward again and there is a little oil splat on the deck.

would I be right in thinking there is an oil leak somewhere or could my poss overfilling of done it?

just popping out for another skeg, might try and get on the ramp tomorrow. off to the local so can't do much tonight. bugger.
