Wise ones, my T2 failed me - again.
Ran perfectly fine Monday evening, nothing special to report. Yesterday evening it started normal, but wouldn't rev. It limits to about 1500rpm, and then the MIL light comes on.
Mind you, MIL does not remain lighted after starting the engine, it only comes on when revving. Up till now I:
- disconnected MAF - makes no difference
- cleaned the (Hitachi) MAF - no difference
- checked the negative battery terminal, did not help. Terminal was a bit loose I have to admit
- checked fuel filter rubber push button: tight
Might be related: I had to replace the battery last week. But the car ran fine afterwards.
Any ideas? I rather need the car the coming weeks.
