I blocked the vac pipe on mine as a stop gap until it warms up outside & I blank the whole thing off:thumb2 the vav pipe comes from the solenoids on the N\S inner wing one pipe go's to the egr & another go's to the shut off valve (think that's it's name) on the inlet manifold. As for insurance it's not really a mod as your not going to get any performance gains from it & the place it's on a T2 no one could ever tell if it's blanked or not:augie Vauxhall have been making & selling egr blanking plates over their parts counter for years & my Dad went into our local dealer & got one for his Astra think it was something like £3.50:lol just shows what Vauxhall think of egr's:lol

Any pictures mate, thanks for idea.

Ok so don't reckon my block of egr vac has worked though had a week without issues. Though block is till in place.

Last few days had limp at 1700 or even 1000 and turning off and on only limited improvement.

Seems foot to floor get 1000 the fee seconds later revs normal ish. Quite a lag and not driveable.

Even when warmed up serious flat spot around 1700 which only can get past if down hill.

Had the same problem with mine drove with lack of power for about 5to10 min then back to full power changed the maf all sorted :thumb2

My 3.0 was starting to play up...holding back at different speeds, coughing, not starting easy, I changed the fuel filter and normal running is resumed.
You say you changed the filter, but for the cost of it, just change the filter again for a good (genuine) make.
