Recently noticed a light vibration coming mainly through the steering wheel only really noticeable on deceleration and carent make my mind up what it is, possibles I thought of are: wheel bearing, oil in diff. injector clogged up. Anyone had this trouble in the past? We are going away tomorrow and as its only slight at the moment I'm going to risk going in it, at least if it goes altogether we will know what the problem is.

What year is the Terrano?
It might have fixed hubs, ie not auto hubs, so it could be the UJ's on the front prop shaft. These have no grease nipples on the fixed hub model, and so often fail.

If it is the case, and it gets worse, and you are not going to off road, then remove the front prop and stow it in the boot. :thumb2
EDIT
Fix it later, just mark up the position with a scratch at each end to make sure the shaft goes back the same way, just in case it was balanced on the vehicle.

Rustic

Thanx for that rustic I will bear that in mind when I get chance to have a look :thumb2
