Been hearing a small intermittent knocking noise. Appears to come from front left wheel, seems to happen as suspension lifts/wheel drops. Thought it had been getting worse, don't drive the truck that much so thought I'd put it up on the ramps and have a gander.
Went all over the suspension with a pry bar, can't find anything with play in it at all. While I was under it I thought I might as well grease up the track rod ends as they were new last year and have grease nipples. After, I took the truck for a spin down the road to get it warm, having stopped/started a few times going up and down ramps.
I can't get the noise to re-occur.
Is it possible that the noise was coming from the track rod ends needing some grease?
