Key Fob prob

Over the last few months i've been having the odd prob with my key fob not unlocking the doors sometimes but will always lock them. Over the past week it won't unlock any time I try so have to use the key to get in & have to switch the ingnition strait on to turn off the alarm. I've tried reprograming the key (only have the 1 key) but still no joy :evil: :evil: :evil:
Could it be the fob is just past it's best & needs replacing :roll:

Good Q really can you buy a key fob off ebay and reprogramme it or get Timpsons or one of these shops to do it?????? :? :lol:

i have just had the same problem with my key fob will lock but not unlock, i found out the spare fob and that works fine,your key fob must be like mine past its sell by date???

I had a nasty feeling that would be the case had a look at it & can't find any markings on the fob so I was wondering if they are all the same :?: as I might try my local breakers to see if I can get one there from a right off :roll:

neil,is it the nats horseshoe keyfob with the two rubber lock and unlock buttons on the key itself or the one like mine with the red and black buttons?,if it`s the nats one the micro switch under the rubbers sometimes goes,it has happened on my primera and i just bought a new over off ebay,clipped it on and away it went,if it`s the earlier type like mine you can get them off ebay for next to nowt and re programme them yourself iirc.

Hi devs mines the nats one which are going for more than the other type on ebay I think i'll try ebay if I don't have any luck at the breakers or they want to much for one
