why do u all think i'm giving up? well i'm not OK? i'v been talking about getting a Volvo for ages, and not i have decided i want to, i want to enjoy my vehicles, all i'll be doing with the terrano is constantly fixing it as it's a bloody money pit.....theirs all the welding needed engine will not run no matter what i try, it's out of my expertise, sorry to burst your bubble guys but we all change, i feel you all liked me and i was part of the club, starting to think it's only because i have a Terrano hay ho

i was hoping to stay on this forum even when i get my Torslanda wagon, but i'm starting to wonder if i'd be welcome

my advice is to forget about the electric / electronics side of things for a while .

in simple terms all a diesel needs to run is ....

fuel

air

compression

do you have fuel at the point of compression ?

do you have air at the point of compression ?

do you have compression ?

if yes to all the above your engine will run in simple terms , ok it might run a bit lumpy , but it will run .
