Was on the way to work this morn and passed through Barry on the way to St Athan to drop a parcel off at a UPS drop off shop (few and far between in sheep land)

As I pulled up to use my phone to get directions for the nearest one, I spotted this tool of a Maverick parked up :thumb2

The owner was also the owner of the tyre garage and spotted me grabbing a snap, he was happy to come over and chat and he showed me the interior

£2500 he said that set him back!!! Not sure I would have parted with that.

He the proceeded to show me a SWB 3.0 that he has up for sale :nenau

Anyone interested? He wants £900 and wont move a penny, I checked it over and it looked bloody solid and someone has Waxoyled it before too, starts and goes, interior was very clean but sadly half black half beige with beige seats

Can't say as I've ever seen a patrol as a police vehicle.
Trying to think if plod had anything like that round my way.

What's wrong with a 3.0 pal? Have you driven one? They are aceeee

Oh there's nothing wrong with the 3.0, I just prefer the 2.7 as there's less to go wrong lol. I drove one a few years back but it was a little poorly

There we go!!!! Surpressed trauma.

The 2.7 is a nice lump though

The chassis on the Patrol in the link above looks a bit crusty. From the photo’s further down the page it looks like it has quite some rust. The be fair to the dealer, they do mention that in their advert.

I reckon it's just a good layer of surface rust, sills look worse to me, however I have naff all experience with patrols, unlike yourself.
