hello folks

2000 lbw 2.7tdi auto.

runs fine, only had it a week and done my first tome on the motor way today and it started making a strange jerking motion, almost like it was slipping between gears sort of feeling, but it isn't and overdrive works.

OD or last gear kicks in at 56mph it feels, but at 65mph or so the truck make shuddering almost like it's loading gear or power, goes away when under 60mph. have checked tracking and balance and it's not that

is it a fuel issue or something sinister?

any help is helpful

Sounds like fuel starvation to me mate

You running Derv or Veg?

Is that at about 1800 - 2000 rpm?

sent from my phone, sorry for any typo's.

that's what I though, just changed the airfilter, one in was totally black and blocked up so I guess fuel filter will be a similar issue and all blocked

yes was around that rev range of 1800/2000rpm. turning OD off jumped it to around 3000

I can't find the post, but someone on here was talking about it the other day, and saying it is actually a mapping problem, but they were discussing something else, so I did not find out more... hopefully they will be along soon...

It made me prick my ears up, as mine runs, and tows fine, but when you sit at a steady speed, where the tacho is showing 1800 rpm, she keeps doing a little shudder...just like the power is coming and going... put your foot down, and she picks up fine, and sitting at a higher speed is fine, it just happens at the one area, regardless of gear.

Mine has had a couple of new fuel filters, and that has never got rid of it, but I have never got around to looking to see if I have the "Banjo Mini filter" often mentioned. Might do that, while the head is off...

if it's a mapping t issueI have the Ecu from my 1999 t2 still waiting to be removed, or a speedchip might fix it, I have a 200£ German one in the garage

hoping it's just fuel filter though, but the rev range is suspect

At 1800 rpm the turbo is just coming on boost which might be why your getting a shudder as boost pressure is rising & falling

What about uj on prop asda vans have them failing now on the ivecos at 45 to 50000 miles and that gives simula fault to yours
