Ive been having a few problems with my Terrano recently, mainly the crank sensor.
The trouble is that the sensor on my car is not the standard sensor with the square plug as mine is the one with the round plug. ive looked everywhere for one with no avail. My final option was the local Nissan dealership who quoted a hefty £250 plus vat.
Anyway when i stopped laughing i politely said no thanks and walked away.

After searching a bit more on the net i found a company who supplies parts for jap imports and sources the parts directly from japan.

the site is www.amayama.com.

they have quoted me £47 for the part i need including delivery. the only downside is that parts can take up to a month to arrive.

Just thought it might be worth a share:thumb2

Just a quick update.
Had a message from DHL today saying I need to pay import tax of £14.
So now the total is £61. And my sensor is at east Midlands airport waiting to be despatched.

Well chuffed. Just hope its the right part.

It turned up today and its a genuine nissan part in the correct packaging and everything. Also you can track it every step of the way on the DHL website.

Thing that pisses me of is that Nissan uk wanted just over £300 for the same thing yet ive got it for less than £70 and just as quick from japan. Talk about rip off Britain. ..
