heyup buddy, ok here are the details for the injector:

S&S Diesel Services, 01489 893834 / 895244, part no for my vehicle is Zexel 9443 610 385 NBF Injector, cost delivered was £120.12.

Nissan Lightcliffe Halifax, CKP sensor, part number 259777F400 (be VERY careful, there are TWO for 96/97 models and it depends on if its early in the year, or late..but they will work it out), cost £199.10 (!!!)

best of luck!

p.s. just PM your email address and I will mail the DOCX document (Word 2007 onwards) straight away

hi clivvy my truck is a august 1996 model

just a quick question if my injector continues to play up without replacing it what will happen because this evening i disconnected the injector plug to clean it up the connectors and forgot to put it back on and forgot about it as he wife asked me to pop down the shops :nenau

the truck started and drove and only when i returned i thought ooops and re-connected it.

then thought if i disconnected and the truck still worked without the light how what ???????

i realise that if the ckp packs up the truck will be a pain so i think i'll change that regardless.

but upon opening the drain plug on the fuel filter i could here loads of bubbling coming out then a trickle of disel with bubbles in ? ?

could this be the potential cause of error code 34 ? ?

without a sensor plugged in, the ecu uses a set of base signals, so usually that means limp home mode. The CKP will eventually mean the car wont start, up untill that point, it will stall etc because the ckp affects timing, injection etc. I would definately open the fuel filter and remove, if its gurgling, then theres air, so remove it, fill it with diesel and tighten back up, PRIME, THEN start the engine...OH, just thought, remove filter and remove the drain plug, I did that, found it a bit cruddy, so gave it a good clean and dry and re attached, made a big difference!!!

yes it could give a code 34 but more likely 21 timing advance valve

yup, its harsh, money wise, but end of the day, its a sensor. I checked EVERYTHINGon mine before getting the sensor. Nothing made any difference :(
